I have a button which opens the standard Access Find box, which is exactlty what I wanted it to do. But due to users having trouble with searches I want eliminate the options and have it so it has fixed criteria. That is to say:

Search any field,
Match any case,
Match any part of field,
Search All.

Leaving just a text entry field and the Find Next, Find First and Close buttons. Is this possible or will I have to create my own search form?

Think you're gonna have to create your own form - you may be able to pre fill the desired attributes of the search but users will still be able to change them. Shouldn't be too hard - just use tick / option buttons for the find first or find next - read the selection into a variable and use within the find syntax Rgds
