FIND AND REPLACE FROM VB IN WORD DOC 1

I need to search for a string in a word doc and replace it with a different string. The string my occur in the HEADER and FOOTER which also need to be searched. There are different variations of the string. Example:

The Old Name, INC.
The Old Name

I've found some threads that helped me, but they haven't done anything to replace the values in the header and/or footer. The threads are thread329-1113099 and thread222-1150578

The second one talks about reading an XML document so I can have the flexibility of finding the different variations.

The first thread works fine, but not in the header. Can anyone help?
