Please help me with tips on how to make a find-a-word creator in vbasic.

If it's a text box you'd like to search you could use the InStr function to find the string and the the SelStart and SelLength properties to highlight it.

Mike
michael.j.lacey@ntlworld.com
<a href= Cargill's Corporate Web Site
Please -- Don't send me email questions without posting them in Tek-Tips as well. Better yet -- Post the question in Tek-Tips and send me a note saying "Have a look at so-and-so in the thingy forum would you?"

I have one for you, but I need your email address.
Steve Meier
tribesaddict@swbell.net
