I know this seems strange, but how can I find a field named on a form that I cannot see? I have 2 combo fields, combo_Category_Type and Combo38. I want to rename Combo38 to combo_Location_Name and it says it already exists. I have checked all the fields and under images, moved everything around, and nothing there. Sure, I can name it something else, but just curious if there's a way. Thanks.

Maybe an idea: set some properties for the 'missing' control in the load or open event of the form, like:
Private Sub Form_Open(Cancel As Integer)
Me.Text17.Visible = True
Me.Text17.Width = 500
Me.Text17.Height = 250
Me.Text17.BackColor = 255
End Sub

If you have the form open in design mode and have the Properties window open, you can select any control using the dropdown located just below the caption of the Properties window.
Once the control is selected, you could change following properties until you find a way to make it visible:
Width
Height
Top
Left

[ol][li]In design view, make sure you have the [blue]Formatting[/blue] toolbar visible (menubar - View - ToolBars - [blue]Formatting (Form/Report)[/blue]). If [blue]Formatting (Form/Report)[/blue] doesn't have a checkmark, make it so!.[/li]
[li]In the far left of the toolbar is a combobox (tooltip saids [blue]Object[/blue] when you hover the mouse over it).[/li]
[li]The combobox contains [blue]the names of all objects[/blue] on the form. [purple]Selecting an item sets the focus to that object![/purple][/li][/ol]

I did what Pampers said, sorry AceMan1 - couldn't find the "In the far left of the toolbar is a combobox (tooltip saids Object when you hover the mouse over it)." And my Formatting (Form/Report) had a checkmark. In fact nothing in the toolbar looked like a combo box and I hovered over all the icons?
