Hi, I am trying to add 39 as one of my destination codes to one of my international BCM 400s running v3.7. Everytime I try and add it I get an "invalid option" error. I know from past experince that this is usually because there is a DN in the system that is using "39". However I can't seem to find it. Is there a way to query the system for a specific DN or range of DNs. Or if it is not a DN conflict issue, what else could be causing this error? Please let me know, thanks in advance!

There are a number of things that could cause this . Your looking for something starting with a 3. Check Hunt Groups -Park codes- applacation DN,s.etc

The range currently in use is 3300-3399 then it picks up again at 4100. I have been able to add "30" to the destination codes and it works fine. I'll try looking at the park codes though.

Got any target lines that have received digits that start with those numbers? That'll do it too.

Also check your access/destination codes to see if you have used that combo. ie: wild Cards

Check all the park code, target lines recieved digits,
ALL system DNs no go. I can't find anything that is explicitly
using the number "39". Any other ideas?

Read the thread with topic "BCM400 system printout"
Now do a full system printout and search fo "39". Maybe you can find the cause there.

OK, I ran the telinv.exe utility and the only "39" it comes up with is the middle digits of DN range 3390-3399.
Would that actually cause an issue? Or could it be something else I am missing? Thanks for all your guidance so far!

Did you check this like I said?

Also check your access/destination codes to see if you have used that combo. ie: wild Cards

I had 1 dest code that had WILD CARD 2 as available, it stopped me from dialing any areacode starting with 2.
