I need to display the previous period as a text anyone who knows how to?

I need to it read like June

Thanks Ettienne now here's another one am reporting as of June but comparing it to December 2008,so how do I show period 12 year last fiscal year in text?

Text() is an Excel function, you can change the "mmmm" parameter to format the date.
