Hi,

I'm trying to find a service that provides financial news streaming that we can use on hold, does anyone know of any? Bloomberg Radio used to be availalbe for this but it's not anymore (at least not legitimately). I need a licensed service, I can't just hook up a device to the MOH port.

Thanks in advance.

I've Googled this and came up empty which is why I came to this forum.

They don't have financial news service availalbe. They do music, marketing messages, but no financial news streaming.

What about sirus internet radio tuned in to a financial streaming service

I'll look into that. I'm not sure if they license for companies to "rebroadcast" over their phone systems. Thanks.

You might be able to find a stream + licensing you could use as your music on hold if you have a media-server.

We don't have a media server (yet), but I'll look into this option, thanks. Struck out on Sirius, they don't have any news channels on their business service.

CNBC and FoxBusiness both allowed us to live stream a channel to our turret phone systems for the traders to listen to and a past place of employment. Licensing was minimal. They would not allow a stream to on hold though. I think they had a concern about the feed having to be recorded and then rebroadcast in order to do so.

Thanks Wanebo. I think the rebroadcasting is the issue. I will look into CNBC and Fox Business.
