Hello,
I have (at last) finished my first Access (2007) Project and now I need to deal with its final appearance. So:

[1] Do i have to get rid of the "Shortcut Menu Bar, Allow Full Menus, Allow Default Shortcut Menus"?

[2] What do i do with the "Dont Display lists where more than this number of records read: 1000"? Does this limit the records i can store?!

[3] What are "Access Special Keys"? (1-3 are from "Current Database Options")

[4] More importantly, how do I customise the database for ONE USER (who obviously just uses the application, with ID, Password) and ONE ADMINISTRATOR (meaning me, so that i can log onto my client's application, do changes/corrections etc in the future).

Any Help concerning the above and any other topics covering the final treatment i should give to the application, will be greatly appreciated!!! Vas

1) Custom toolbars can stop users doing bad things. Default ones are easier to understand. Depends on the likely users and the database

2)No. It just controls filter by form, etc whther it shows possible options. Leave as default unless there is a good reason to change.

3) Shortcut keys for the application - there are loads, but the options setting prevent users getting into debug and design modes, stopping code executing, and bypassing startup options. Again, turn off to prevent users messing things up, leave on for flexibility. Check the help on this - if you turn it off, you may want to leave a way for you to turn them back on.

4) Run a check against the current user before opening a form, etc to see if they have permission.
