Filters do not work on incoming mail.

That's about it. I can create filters for outgoing mail, but filters do not affect incoming messages. Eudora 6.something.

This does not seem to be a much frequented forum, but perhaps someone has a thought on the issue.

I have always used Eudora but am a basic (not power) user. Nevertheless, I did set up a filter for incoming mail with a certain criteria for "to" to go into a certain mailbox. This worked flawlessly and was fairly intuitive to accomplish.

Yes, I know that. I am a "power user", but I can't get it to work. I have another Eudora issue, as well. I have reinstalled the program with no results. It does work well on outgoing.

Most of the filter issues/problems here have been a result of the order that the filters are processed in--since we have multiple similar filters it can get confusing.

These would be the only filters for these addresses. They remain in the in box. Not one single incoming mail is filtered out.

Outgoing is fine. Odd.
