Filters based on prompt values ???

Hi ,

I have a report which is having a prompt . It can have two values (ex : white,red) . If user selects prompt value as white , then report should pick filter which is place=USA , if user select red as prompt value then report should pick another filter : place = canada .

Is it possible to have filters based on prompt values in report studio report (cognos 8.2) ???

please suggest...

Set the display values for your prompt to White and Red, set the use values to USA and canada, add filter:
[place]=?prompt_parameter?
