Is there a good way to filter unmessages and executable files before reaching the exchange server. I have tried to look around at the ISA but cannot find any information.

Michelle

Hi Michelle,

Have you looked into the SMTP Message Screener that's shipped with ISA Server? It can examine email and decide what to do with it based on attachment extensions, domain names, email account, and even keywords.

It can delete the message, forward the message to a human screener or put the message in a "quarantine" folder.

Hope this helps,

Mapman Assume nothing, question everything, be explicit not implicit, and you'll always be covered.
