Hi All,
We still run IWR. In the Impromptu catalog we use filters for an Employer column, and assign a different filter value for each User Class(around 150 counts).
All security in IWR is managed by Access Manager.
Now, I need to create same reports using ReportNet and secure their output similar to what we have in IWR(by user logged in the system).
We are going to use same Access Manager setting.
Example:
User Class Table/Column to filter Filter
BOLTON WILLIS_EMP_CARRIER/EMPLOYER EMPLOYER='000848'
LOVELACE WILLIS_EMP_CARRIER/EMPLOYER EMPLOYER='LHC'
I need to Create a Security filter based on those User Classes and specify it for a Query Subject WILLIS_EMP_CARRIER.
How can I use values EMPLOYER='000848' and EMPLOYER='LHC'? Do I need to create a parameter map?
Do I need to use a session parameter or a macro for a filer(s)? Which one?
What would be the best approach?
Thanks in advance,
Vlad
