My company has Goldmine 5.7 dBase version. I am trying to build a filter that is based on the "record #" For some reason I'm missing something that is probably obvious, but if anyone can help I would highly appreciate it.

What do you mean by Record Number? Unless you've created a field of your own that holds a unique number for your records, GoldMine doesn't maintain such a thing, really. If you're referring to the Summary tab's number, ignore it. That number could change for every record in the database every time you do database maintenance and I wish they wouldn't show the first number to us at all...
