I have Exchange Server running on Win SBS 2003, can I configure it to receive only messages from people that are on my Global Address List and filter (bounce them back) all the rest?

Thanks in advance...

Yes!

If the question is really what you mean then the easiest way is to not allow any mail from the internet into the Exchange server.

Yes, you can deny accepting email destined for addresses not in the directory. The problem with that is that it can lead to brute force attacks.

Recipient Filtering

You'll also want to configure tarpitting to reduce the effectiveness of brute force attacks.

What I meant was the I only want to receive emails from people that I have in my address list.
For example, if john@aol.com is not in my list I don't want to receive any emails from him, I want them to be bounced back.

Is there a way to do that?

Well, your original post said the Global Address List, which is what prompted my response.

sorry for the misunderstanding, do you know of any way to accomplish this?
