I am in A2K3 and I need to filter one form based on the value in another. The forms are both based on stored procedures. The link child/master fields are not working for this (embedded subform), nor does a filter parameter in DoCmd.OpenForm (to open it separately rather than having it embedded). Do stored procedures not allow filters? How can I do this? Thanks.

I forgot to mention that a where clause in the SP is interpreting the reference to the main form as a string, so that was fruitless as well. Thanks.

I could not embed the subform, so I put a command button on the main form that opens the subform separately.
