hi :)
i'm trying to create a report in Microsoft access and i need this report to be filtered using data entered via text boxes. so i used an SQL statement and assiged it to the report's recored source.
but when i tried to execut i had the following run time error: you can't set the record source property after printing has started"

can any1 tell me what did i do wrong and if there is another way i can filter the report

thank u in advance

In which event procedure you modify the report's recored source ?
Where are located the TextBoxes ?
You may consider the 4th argument of the DoCmd.OpenReport method instead of reassigning the Recordsource.

Hope This Helps, PH.
