Filterering Report based on Selected Month and Sale person 1

Hello,

I have a report that is based on a query to return Sales.

I would kike to be able to filter this report with a form. On this form I have a combo box with Salesperson names, and another combo with Months. Up to here I am ok.

The problem I am having is the dates are stored in the table as 1/13/2003.

My question is how do I Select "Feb" in the combobox and have only the records of Febuary come up?

I have been looking throught this site to find such matter with no luck...

Try creating a query for the report that includes all the fields you are using on the report plus this one

Month:Format([datefield],"mmm&quot

and then use that in your criteria for opening the report
