I have a table with water meter reads every 15 minutes in excel.

I want to filter the rows so that only the meter read at 2:00 shows every day. I have tried this using filter and it forces me to expand every day and select the hour. Is there shortcut to select only the 2:00 hour of each day in just a few clicks? As it stands now, I have to click to expand the daily filters before I can check off the hourly selection and it results in 100s of clicks to see a year of data showing only the 2:00 meter reads.

Thanks!

Add a column that pulls only the hour from your (assumed) date+time column. Filter on the new column.

Great idea. I will try that and report back...

That worked... I used =TIME(HOUR(A1),MINUTE(A1), SECOND(A1))to extract the hour and minutes out of the date and time. Now it would be great if I could do a line graph that shows 12:00 each day for 7 days and then do the same for 1:00 and the same for 2:00, etc, etc and then superimpose the line graphs on top of each other. You got me most of the way there... Thanks!
