I need to filter a subform based on a value on the main form. I have found many exaples of the reverse but i seem to be missing how to apply this to what I need.

I have a BoxNumber value on the main form and need to filter the subform based on that value.

Thanks

Why not simply add BoxNumber to the LinkMasterFields and LinkChildFields properties of the subform ?

Hope This Helps, PH.

I've tried that but it doesn't seem to work.

The Tracking number is entered into an unbound text box on the main form.

When the form is opened the sub form shows all FileNumbers rather than the FileNumbers for the entered BoxNumber.

Thanks
