I want to create a view of issues that are due to be resolved by a future
date (say +7 days), how can I apply this filter? I've checked through the
help sections but all I can find is a reference to using the [Today] function.

Thanks in advance
Mac

The filter in sharepoint will not accept calculations. However you could try someting like

Adding a custom field name (date-7)
Check the option box for calculated field
Now enter for paramters [Due date]-7
OK

Now you should have a calucated field where it takes the due date and subtracts 7 days.

Create the view and filter the list where
(date-7) column is equal or greater then today

Have not tested but it should work
