I have a spreadsheet with two tabs containing payment information, one internally generated and one from the client. My goal is to flag, or move to a new tab, the unmatched records so they can be investigated.

Each record on both tabs has; Name, Acct#, PmtAmt, CommAmt, Date, and PmtType. A record is considered matching if it matches the Acct#, PmtAmt and CommAmt.

It would also be a huge bonus if the internally generated tab could have the row number of the matching record from the client tab added at the end.

I realize this is probably a real newb request and covered elsewhere but I'm really under the gun here...any help is appreciated!!

Hi,

I'd use MS Query.
