Filter Individual mailboxes

We're using Arcserve 2000 and we have about 800 mailboxes being backed up. As people leave, their user accounts get disabled. This causes Arcserve to throw up error messages as it can not back up the mailbox.
Short of remembering to untick mailboxes when disabled and tick any new users that created so they get backed up is there any way of using the filter option. Or do we just put up with a constant INCOMPLETE status.
