All,

There is a report with a filter which is created by the end user on the web.The user wants to edit the report filter on the web to add new elements of a attribute into the filter. When he searches for the elements on the web (using both Match case checked and unchecked )the elements does not show up in the search results.
But when I try this on the desktop instead of web,the elements show up.

Do any one have a idea what might be the reason for this?

Thanks.

When you login into desktop, do you login as that same user or as an Administrator. So would this issue relate to any Security Filter (on that attribute).
The other possibility could be element cache. You could delete all the Cache objects for that project and then try listing the elements.

Don't delete _all_ the cache objects (you will make a lot of users unhappy), just clear the element cache. I concur that this could also be a security filter related "issue".
