Filter does not include additional contacts and does not have option

Hello,

This is my first time posting. This is also my first attempt at creating a group from a filter.

I have created a Filter in GoldMine 5.5. This Filter request is upper(Contact1->mergecodes)=LEC. The Filter will not allow me to include the additional contacts.

The merge codes have been given to both the main contact and the required additional contacts.

When I apply the filter it includes of course only the upper contacts and I can not figure out how to include the additional contacts in the filter request.

Any info or insight will help. I am on a deadline and will be doing this manually if I can not get it to work.

I also know very little about GoldMine

when you are saying the additional contact, do you mean within the contact tab???

If so you would need to create an sql queries, this is the only way.
