Hi,

I have taken over a db which has a form, with several embedded subforms on it. We can do a filter by form, using the main form, but cannot filter by form using the subforms. I have got around this before using some code and queries, but was wondering if there is an easier way. Hope this is ok. If not, just let me know.

I don't understand what you mean by this. You can filter on any field of the subform just as you would a mainform field. The subforms will be visible when you press the filter by form button. Put whatever criteria will work in any subform field and apply the filter. You can even apply filter to any mainform field and more than one subform or subform field(s).
