Would like to find an easy way to pass a filtered form to a report without getting additional records.
Have a form were the records are filtered by date. Records are copied from A.db to B.db yielding the date group (all records between to dates). I need only one name out of that group and get it by filtering. How can that same name filter be applied to the Report.
Any help would greatly appreciated.
Also, over the past two years of using Paradox and the support from this forum have been great.

If it was me, I would base the report on a query result. For example, once you can see the record you want to print on your filtered form, grab it's key values and query for it. Then base your report on :priv:answer.db.

As mentioned above you can create a report based on the results of a query. If you are using a form that requires only one db then this is probably the easiest. For my shop management system I need five separate tables in addition to the five that make up the db system (for repair orders) to create an invoice. I prefer to create the queries in the buttons code and generate the tables at each occurrence. For me it's a management issue, in that the query is right there with the form. I've been using this system of 11 years and having a bunch of queries lying around is hard to track.

For the generated (I think you’re calling it the filtered table) I generate them in the Private directory. For the different filtered groups I give the answer table a different name. At the moment I use them and delete them after printing a report.
