filling problems, hard 2 xplain in subject :P

i got meself a face and have sorted it into 4 layers: eyes, nose, hair and the face, my problem is when i fill the face it completely fills everything like the eyes and mouth when i want them white!!! Soz i can't be more descriptive it is my first time properly using it!
Hope someone can help

Make sure the face layer is below the mouth, nose and hair layers. You can just drag the layers around in the 'object manager' docker.

I find, for something simple like this, it's easier to put everything in the same layer and use the 'order' tool. Pressing the 'page up' button on your keyboard while holding down 'shift' will bring the selected object to the front, and likewise the 'page down' button. Alternatly you can go to 'Arrange' in the menu bar and select order.
