Filesystem advice plz

Hi

1. In my HP-Ux 11.11 my /usr is 97 % full ( 140mb free space left) when i searched usnder /usr/users i saw 500mb core and couple of .tar files, i removed those tar files and core files even after that it is showling 97% full and 140mb free... after deleting those things i hv cleared around 700mb, why it is not showing more free space?, i did reboot also.. but still same result when i give bdf or df -k.. any advice plz
2. I need to install netscape ( browser) on hp-ux11.11, hw do i do it.. if i go to netscape website from the net i shd install but without any browser how do i go to netscape site?... any advice on installing netscape on my hp-ux.. thanks

It sounds like /usr/users is on a separate logical volume. What is the output of the command 'bdf'?

If you have access to the netscape site via a PC, download it onto the PC and then ftp it onto the HP box.
