Fileset requisites for HACMP v5.3

Im trying to install HACMP v5.3 onto a pair of 510q's running AIX 5.3 TL04.

Its failing to install due to missing pre-requisites.

SELECTED FILESETS: The following is a list of filesets that you asked to

I have downloaded the latest versions of the filesets and tried to install, but they fail too stating requisite filesets arent installed.

For example, when i try to install the rsct filesets, i get this

I have searched all over my AIX install cd's, and these filesets are nowhere to be found.

I have even tried a complete fresh install of AIX, still no filesets.

Where am i going wrong ? Where can i get these filesets from ?

well, i've installed HACMP5.3 on AIX 5.3ML4 using NIM and with no problem. Of course NIM is just one way of doing it but it could be done directly with the cd as you have done!!!

From AIX5.3 CDs, I just first had to install:
bos.clvm.enh 5.3.0.31
bos.data 5.3.0.0
rsct.basic

Then I used HACMP CDs to install:
cluster.es
cluster.es.clvm
cluster.es.cspoc
cluster.es.worksheets
cluster.es.license
cluster.es.man.en_US
rsct.basic
rsct.core

And that's it!!!

I hope this will help, if not please let me know how exactly you are doing the installation in steps
