fileset broken.

Hi,

I was trying to update the fileset bos.net.ipsec.keymgt, but the installation failed and now the fileset is in broken state. This is the lslpp -l output:

bos.net.ipsec.keymgt 5.2.0.30 BROKEN IP Security Key Management
bos.net.ipsec.rte 5.2.0.30 COMMITTED IP Security
bos.net.ipsec.keymgt 5.2.0.10 COMMITTED IP Security Key Management
bos.net.ipsec.rte 5.2.0.10 COMMITTED IP Security

I tried to execute installp -C , but did not work.

Somebody knows how to remove this broken fileset?

did you try installp -u (-u is to remove the fileset)
but i would like to know as to why is was broken state in the first place.

Thanks for you response. I was trying to update this fileset from version 5.2.0.10 to 5.2.0.30. If I remove the fileset using installp -u I remove the version 5.2.0.10. Ca I just remove the 5.2.0.30 version?
