Files ???

Hi:
I have two library's that I used. One is my own and the other is production. Now I want some of the files or creating tables or inserting into from production into my own library file. How do I tell it to select from this library file and create the exact table into that file?

If this is AS400 then you can just simply copy the file from prod to your library with *replace option. See CPYPF cl command.

If you are using WRKQRY, you can direct the output to a database file, just specify the desired library and file name
