files sharing between networked computers?

I have three computers hooked up to the same router / hub.

I'd like to move files between computer (some very large)

What's the easiest way to move a large file? 2 GB

Is there a program that makes this easier?

I finally got the desktop to show up by clickng "view workgroup computers" but it only lists Printers in "My Network Places"? How do I get to the other computers directory tree?
