Hi,
I'm not sure if this is the right forum, I'm using XP Pro's backup utility, (which names Veritas in the 'about')
Anyway, here's the question:
I'm backing up several machines on a network, all via the XPPro box. Each machine is set up as a separate job. Just randomly checking, I saw that the backup last night took 1 second and backed up zero files. No errors were logged (I ran it manually as well, and zero were backed up.) The problem--seevera files that are explicitly checked in the .bks file are NOT being backed up. They are in no way hidden, system, etc etc, and have no security (it's a win98 box). The xp and win98 machines clocks are within 1 minute, so it's not a case of a timestamp making the file appear older. Other machine's have files that get backed up, and this one has files getting backed up too--sometimes. Why is this not being backed up?
Thanks,
