We recently deployed new Windows XP workstations to the entire office. Servers are Netware, workstations were also updated with Office XP and are running Wordperfect 8.
Many of our wordperfect files located on the network now show a Date Modified of 11/15/2080. These files have not been accessed in the last 3-12 months. Less than 10 percent of wordperfect documents seem to have been affected, but it is still about 1000 docs.
Things I've done so far:
Ran latest virusscan. . .came up clean
All servers/workstations have correct date
Files are owned by different users
The Modify Date time field is equal to the Creation Date time field
If you modify one of the affected documents, the Date Modified returns to the correct value.
Different file extensions are effected.
Any ideas on how to proceed or what may have caused this to happen would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Zef
