Hi,
Users are intermittently getting an issue whereby their files are getting locked.
I.e. Users access files shared off of a Windows Server 2003 fileserver and intermittently once the file is close when re-opening the file they are told the file is "locked for editting by\"username" ".
- The problem has occured with both Excel & Word docs.
- A simple fix is to reboot their pc/ get an admin to disconnect the session via the server.
I was wondering if anybody had a permanent fix to this or any explanation as to what causes this?
