I noticed that if I copy folders to CD-R, the files copy ok, but the file dates become the date of the creation of the CD-R.
Is this s recognized bug?
Is there a way around it?

I now zip the folders before copying, thereby retaining the correct dates, but this is clumsy.

The file dates shouldn't change but the folder dates will always change when putting [creating, copying, or moving] them on another hard drive or CD or floppy. It's the MakeDirectory function that exists even back to DOS days. The only way I've gotten around it is to change the system clock/time.
