We had a whole series of files blown away on our SCO 5.0.6 server. The resulting files had a size of Zero and Date Created that matched a time when McAfee Virus Checker was running on a WIN/XP machine with a drive (F that mapped to the Unix disk (/usr5) that was affected. Other unix drives that were not mapped were not effected and files on the Windows XP machine were not effected.
The suffixes of the files that were deleted matched the suffixes defined in the "Line Endings" setup of Visionfs.
Has anyone else heard of this situation.
