I moved data from a W2K server to a W2K3 server and the users in one folder are getting this error randomly. It says "The File _______ may have been changed by another user since you last saved it. In that case, what do you want to do?" It prompts them to save a copy or overwrite changes. They select overwrite and it works fine.
I have rebooted the server because I thought file locking may have been corrupted but that did not do the trick. It happens 4 or 5 times a day every day. They are a small group and no one else is in the file.
