I am trying to create my first web page to access a Filemaker database and I am experiencing a error message and I have no idea what is causing it. Anyone have any ideas?

I created the web page using the CDML tool on my home Windows 98 pc. I access the web page with IE as my browser and enter the appropriate data (only 5 fields). I click on the add record button and I get the following error:

Data Entry Error - Your attempt to edit a record failed because of the following:

Unknown error number 102

I do have FileMaker Pro 5 running with the database in question open.

I'm sure this must be something simple. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

rshendrix -

I developed many web sites that access FMP.

If you have the Developer's Guide for FMP Developer 5, in the back of the book (Appendix C), there is a lost of error codes and what they mean. It is invaluable.

In your case, error 102 means "A field is missing". Hope that helps.

Also, I moved the database and web page to a networked Windows 2000 PC and the web page works okay.

Does this sound strange or what?
