Hi .....
I'm pretty much a novice at perl and not much of a programmer, but willing to learn. I need a script that will upload files to a server (pre-defined directory .... binary files only). There are plenty of scripts available to do this, the thing is I want to be able to delete files from the same directory. I do not need to rename, move files etc ..... just upload and delete.

I have not been able to find any tutorials for this .... can anyone please help. Because my knowledge is limited I my be a bit ambitious and might need to start a little down the ladder :)

Thanks

Trevor

Are we talking a web server or a file server? If a file server, how do you want them to be uploaded: ftp, scp or whatever? How are the files to be uploaded specified?

Happy to help but need a bit more detail ;-)

Yours,

Sorry about that ..... a web server (linux), and they needed to be uploaded FTP. Graphic files need to be uploaded, but every now and then old ones need to be deleted. I do not want the user to be able to change directories etc, only upload and delete. So all the file in the specified directory need to be displayed, and the option to delete one or more of the files is needed.

I hope this is a help

Trevor
