We have installed our first 2008 server. Currently it is only running as an archive server for old files. I have been running copy jobs across our WAN from other 2003 servers.
A 2003-2003 server copy runs around 300-400k/s.
A 2003-2008 server copy runs around 30-40k/s.
After reading several forum posts, I can't find an answer I am comfortable with.
Disable SMB2 seems rather extreme, being as we will be adding more 2008 servers.
Some have suggested changing the registry keys...
Change the following registry keys to 0 from 1:
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Lanmanserver\parameters\EnableSecuritySignature
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Lanmanserver\parameters\RequireSecuritySignature
Does anyone have a proper way to fix this issue??
Thanks
