File Transfer Protocol (FTP)

Hi, I’m looking to use the FTP to pull data in from a website but the problem is that I need to send data across.
I’m I correct in saying the FTP in SQL server 2000 does not allow you to send data but only allows you to pull data.

If so can anyone suggest a way I can send this data.
