Programmer
Hi All,
I have written a little program that transfers files from an applet to the server over HTTP (FTP stopped by firewall). Running on TCP/IP is fine and transferring files from a local directory (eg c is fine but when I want to send a file that is located on a network drive, it is really, really slow and often crashes the browser.
Local file transfer is fine but network drives cause a real problem. Can anyone shed any light on what could be the problem here.
One server is using netware 5 sp 6
the other 5.1 sp3a
and client is netware client 3.32
Thanks
Peter
