I have attempted to change the permissions on a folder on the c: drive of all of our PCs via Group Policy. Although this appears to be applying correctly in AD this is not actually happening. I am trying to give 'Everyone' the permission to 'Modify' and then propogate this to all child objects.
The folder is created by an installed application.

Any ideas please guys?

I am having this problem as well. Have you received any assistance elsewhere that you are willing to share here on this particular subject.

Thanks.

the group policy object needs to be defined in the permissions of the folder
