File Size in Pagemaker

Hi
I know a number of things to do to make a PM file smaller -- save as, save file smaller not faster, don't embed images, place images, preferably as .tifs -- I wonder if there are other options out there I am not aware of. I would sure appreciate any information. Thanks.

Every 5 saves or so, do a 'save as' - over the original file name or to another file name. This removes all the accumulated - but inaccessible - changes to date.
