File sharing problem

Hi,

I have a folder name "test" in c drive, and i alrady share it as full control. The problem is when i type the following command under "run" -- \\my_pcname\test, it gave me an error message of cannot connect to that path.

Can anyone help me to sort this out, cause i like cannot share folder through that network.

Can you use the net use command from a dos prompt to map it to a drive letter? Example net use g: \\my_pcname\test

You will either be prompted for a username and password or you will get "The command completed successfully"

At this point you can change to the g drive and see all in test.
