Apologies if this is a bit vague, but am asking this question on behalf of someone else who is waiting for his internet connection to be restored!
The set up is as follows:
A desktop with XP Pro, connected to a wireless router.
A laptop with wireless card and XP Home.
Both members of the same workgroup
No MS or other firewall installed ( I know!)
Problem is that when the laptop is in range, the 2 machines can see each other and the desktop has full access to the laptop folders. However the laptop cannot access any of the desktop folders, despite seeing the machine. He claims the 2 machines are set up identically as far as file sharing is concerned.
Any ideas?
If sunflower oil comes from sunflowers, and vegetable oil comes from vegetables, where does baby oil come from?
