I want to share files from a computer on my 192.168.1.0/24 network with a computer on another local network, 192.168.0.0/24.

Is this possible? I don't have a windows server. "Computers near Me" under "my network places" doesn't see the other computer, probably because they are on separate networks.

I tried using "map network drive" but it doesn't seem to be able to find the other computer. It just hangs when I put in the share "\\192.168.1.36\sharedFolder

I know my two networks can connect to eachother as I can ssh from one machine to another. So something is wrong with windows networking, or maybe its not possible?
