How do two people with stand alone versions of VFP 6.0 share the same database on a network drive. We will be creating forms and reports for the same project. How is this accomplished so that we do not get file access errors?
We tried making a copy of the database on our local drives but when we copy forms back up to the server we get data environment problems and lose all relationships previously established.

in the command window before doing anything type this in

that did not work. As soon as the other person tries to open the same project he gets "file access denied"

Projects can't be shared - nor can two people be working on the same Form, Class, Report, Menu, etc. at the same time. Consider setting up a separate project (or mini project) for each person working on the network. Once the basic struture of the application is established (the main program, the menu, base classes, etc.), everyone should be able to work without stepping on each other, assuming a well define work plan.
