Hi there
This is a bit complicated but I will try my best ...
Basically I have a nas and a number of standalone web servers that I need to map to it. I have to give the iusr account from each web server full read and write access to a file share on the nas. The nas has its own active directory domain and the web servers are standalone. They are on the same ip subnet
When I map to the nas file share from the standalone server, I get a prompt for username and password even thought I have given everyone full access to the share. Is there anyway of disabling security on a file share ?
I have tried creating an iusr account on the nas domain for each server but no joy.
